As the Hudson Area Library has found it necessary to relocate, the historic Hudson property at 400 State Street, known as the Hudson Almshouse, is now available for sale. The library trustees are listing the building for sale for thirty days starting June 9, 2011 with the hopes that someone who shares our love of its historic significance and potential will purchase and preserve this building that is on the National Register of Historical Places.
