Attention all cooks and food lovers!
The Friends of the Hudson Area Library announce a special cookbook sale at the new book tent at the Hudson Farmers Market this Saturday, August 18th. This one-time-only event, from 10:00am until 1:00 pm, will offer a large and eclectic collection of vintage, new and used cookbooks in many categories, including gourmet, children’s, quick meals and menus, books on canning, preserving, summer barbecues and grilling, and ethnic cuisine. There will be hundreds of titles and food groups to choose from, including soups, appetizers, meats, vegetables, desserts and more! All books will be offered at low discount prices for this special sale. Cookbooks make great gifts for the cooks, food lovers or cooks-to-be in your life… you are sure to find something for everyone under the tent this Saturday!
In addition to this special tent sale, the Hudson Area Library Book Sale Room, located at 400 State Street, will also be open on Saturday and has thousands of other books in over forty categories, including art, travel, gardening, autobiography, classics, fiction, humor, mystery, children’s, self-help, science, history and many more. Our inventory is the largest in the area, with new books always being added. Movies, audio books and music are also available for purchase at discounted prices. The Friends of the Hudson Area Library is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and proceeds from its fundraising go to the library for the acquisition of books and other media and for the development and delivery of the Library’s services to the community.
