Library Campaign Reaches Out at Hudson Farmer’s Market

In a continued effort to spread the word about fund raising efforts, this coming Saturday, June 28th, the Campaign for the Hudson Area Library will host a table at the Hudson Farmer’s Market. There will also be a raffle to give away bundled books, audio books, graphic novels and galleys for all age levels. Several of the offerings have been on display at the library for the past two weeks. A sampling includes Who Could That Be at This Hour? by Lemony Snicket, Leaving Time by Jodi Picoult, Avalon High: Volume 1 –The Merlin Prophecy by Meg Cabot, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and the audio book Danny the Champion of the World by Roald Dahl.

“We want to reach out to as many people as possible,” says Theresa Parsons, Co-chair for the Campaign. “The new library will be a major community center. The more people who know about all that we have planned, the better. And, of course, we continue to seek donations and the support of the public.
