Radio from the Field Workshop With WGXC

fieldradioWave Farm’s WGXC 90.7-FM will offer a two-session public radio workshop at the library this month. WGXC Mobile Studio Manager and artist Max Goldfarb will lead participants in making field recordings and editing audio, as they learn to construct projects that give voice to our local environments. The two sessions will culminate in a short, radio-ready production that will become a part of Wave Farm’s WGXC archive.

The sessions will be held Tuesdays, November 10 and 17 from 5pm-7pm. Adults and mature teens interested in environmental sound recording, soundscape research and radio production are encouraged to attend. No prior experience is required. The sessions are free, but reservations are recommended. To learn more, or to reserve your place, email max@wgxc.org or call (518) 697-7400.
