The library is graced by sculpture from the Hudson High School Sculpture Class. The works are predominantly paper maché with others in wood an tape. The works are in turn colorful and translucent, cartoons, abstractions, figurative, all fun to look at it.
Stop by and see the works in person during library operating hours. Thanks to the Hudson High School educators and students for allowing us to exhibit this collection of student artwork!
Don’t miss the Opening Celebration Saturday 4/9/2016 at 10am.
Despite Monday’s Blizzard of 2016 (all 6 inches) the move is well under way. Arnoff Movers (arnoff.com) are continuing to do the heavy lifting with great professionalism. So the library is now filling up with books. One striking result is that for the first time the entire collection of over 22,000 books can be seen by simply turning around.
TECHNOLOGY, TECHNOLOGY – the various wizards from MidHudson Cable, S&F Technology, Jerry Jennings Electric, Mid Hudson Library System and our own volunteer guru of bits and bytes Michael Grisham have pulled together all of the pieces. We now have true high speed internet – 50 Mbps up and down. Undoubtedly the fastest service anywhere in the area. Almost all of the 24 public computer stations are in place and working. WiFi is everywhere. All of it fast!
