The Board of Trustees of the Hudson Area Library is seeking volunteers to work on the Marketing Committee.
The Hudson Area Library is entering on a two year project to renovate the Armory (North Fifth and State St.) to become its new home. It is our objective to create a 21st century library that will serve as a new community hub for our library users from Hudson, Greenport, and Stockport as well as other local towns.
Marketing for the Library
To reach this objective and to create ongoing community engagement and support for the long term, the Board is seeking to significantly increase every aspect of how we communicate with library patrons, volunteers, the various communities we serve as well as other stakeholders in government and the corporate and non-profit worlds. Our library design consultant Kim Cullin has created a presentation, “Creating a Thriving 21st Century Library” to provide a brief overview of the activities, programs, spaces, and tools that are part of what other libraries across the country are doing to become a 21st century library. This presentation will provide you with a larger frame of reference before you fill out the online survey.
