Bengali Bandhan

Bengali Bandhan classes continues for a new semester with a new meeting time: Fridays 4 – 5pm beginning January 5. These classes, taught by MD Gazi and Kaniz Fatema, are open to school aged children and the general public.

Students will learn how to read, write, and speak in Bengali. There are also lessons on Bangladeshi culture through shared stories, poems, songs, dance, and arts and crafts. Students’ work will be celebrated in April at an event for participants and their families.

The Library’s Bengali Bandhan* Class will be meeting this fall Wednesdays 5-6pm beginning September 6.This program, taught by M.D. Gazi, is geared toward school age youth, but all are welcome.
