Program Description: Arts educator, writer, director and performer Pamela Badila reads and tells traditional stories from around the world with music and performance and leads a related craft with children and their families. This special story hour will give families the opportunity to explore stories, told through generations, that formed the traditions and ethics of particular cultures.
Date/Time: 1st & 3rd Saturdays, beginning March 16, 11am-12pm
This Saturday, July 30, from 11am-12pm, join us for a special Where’s Waldo themed Children’s Story and Craft Hour. Come learn “cut and paste” – the art of collage – as our special guest, Theresa Shanley Corrigan of Artfully Yours in Cairo, leads the children through the creation of their very own Waldo collage. Our Where’s Waldo story and craft hour is open to children of all ages but is especially recommended for ages 4 and up.
This special event is being held in conjunction with the final weekend of the Where’s Waldo Scavenger Hunt, a community-wide Shop Local scavenger hunt hosted by our friends at The Spotty Dog with participation from 20+ merchants/locations in Hudson – including the library!
