Cooking Club with Lil’ Deb’s Oasis

Program Description: Tweens and teens are invited to join HAL TAC on a trip to the kitchen of the famed Lil’ Deb’s Oasis. Take a special tour of the restaurant and cook a dish right off the menu under the tutelage of the James Beard-nominated chefs of Lil’ Deb’s. Lil’ Deb’s Oasis is an ongoing restaurant/installation/performance project, created by artist-chefs Carla Perez-Gallardo and Hannah Black. Lil’ Deb’s Oasis is a community-centered space based in Hudson, NY, that frequently collaborates with artists, galleries and the like-minded.

Date/Time: Thursday, January 23, 3:30-4:30pm. Transportation will be available to and from the restaurant.

Family Field Trip to Martin Van Buren National Historic Site

Hudson Area Library Kids in an Historic Tug O’ War!

Program Description: All ages and families are welcome to join us for a tour of & activities at the Martin Van Buren National Historic Site. Transportation and lunch will be provided.
