Norma Hart Has Passed Away

Norma HartWe have sad news to share. Norma Hart, longtime library supporter, Friend, and former librarian, has passed away. Many have fond memories of her in the Children’s Room, and to this day remember the library as ‘Ms. Hart’s Library.’ Norma was also the visionary and creator behind the formation of the Library’s History Room Collection over 40 years ago.

After being honored by the Friends of the Hudson Area Library at their Annual Meeting in April 2014, Ms. Hart shared these words of wisdom: “you have to bring some light to whatever corner of the world you are in.” We are forever grateful to Ms. Hart for her many contributions to the library and for shining her light in our little corner of the world for so many wonderful years. We will miss her dearly.
