Job Search Help

We are offering two different job facilitators for one-on-one Job Search Help this fall:1st and 3rd Wednesdays 6 – 8pm, & every Friday 10am – 1pm with Beth Gordon, NCDA trained Career Development Facilitator or by appointment with Heather Martin, Area Coordinator of Literacy Connections.
These one-on-one sessions will focus on resume and cover letter writing, online job applications, job search resources, and interview preparation. Job hunters should have basic computer skills and bring a copy of their resume if they have one.

Free Job Skills Workshop

The Hudson Area Library, in collaboration with Literacy Connections of the Hudson Valley, will have free Job Skills One-on-One Consultations. You will get help with critical job-seeking skills like creating a resume, applying for jobs online, and selling your unique job talents in an interview. Children’s activities can be arranged when you schedule your appointment.

Happy Thanksgiving!

The Library will close at 5pm on Wednesday, November 21 and will be closed all day on Thursday, November 22. Items left in the drop box while we are closed for the holiday will be backdated to November 21.

Our adult education partners, Questar and Literacy Connections, are not holding classes this week.
