Program Description: While Pamela Badila is on summer hiatus, Sam Gruber, Summer Reading teacher and Library Assistant, reads and tells traditional stories from around the world with music, performance and crafts for children and their families.
Date/Time: Sundays, 1-2pm. July 1 through August 26.
Stop by the courtyard at Bliss Towers (State St. and 2nd St., Hudson) for Storytime on the Go this Friday, August 28 from 3PM-5PM. The event will include stories, puzzles, hand-puppets, crafts, book giveaways and other early literacy activities for children ages 0-5 and their families. We hope to see you there!
We are launching our first crowdfunder this week on Indiegogo! The focus is the Early Literacy Storytime Nook to be located in the turret of the Hudson Armory when the library moves in 2015. The video below, filmed at the library by Lauren Keenan, emphasizes the benefits of reading aloud to even the youngest infants.
We hope you’ll take a look at the campaign and help us raise $5,000 (or more!) so that we can furnish this space designed to help our children learn and grow. Please also share this link with all your friends through social media: hudsonarealibrary.org/storytime/
