Monthly Watercolor Workshops for Families: February

This month’s February 16 workshop focuses on seasonal still life from local fields and forests: iconic imagery of snowy farms, barns, and more along with presidents, groundhogs, etc.

Program Description: The City of Hudson Senior Center and the library are hosting monthly watercolor painting workshops with local artist Gretchen Kelly. This series is titled Watercolor with Your Grand Person. All ages are welcome and adults are encouraged to bring children from their families; children must be accompanied by a grandparent, parent, teen or other adult.

Date/Time: Saturdays 2-4pm, February 16, & March 16

Watercolor w/ Your Grandperson: Halloween-Themed

Program Description: The City of Hudson Senior Center and the library will host our second grandparents, children, and grandchildren watercolor workshop with teaching artist Gretchen Kelly. Youth and adult participants paint in watercolors with the Halloween theme as it is found in nature: pumpkins, fall leaves, gourds, branches, bugs, bats, spider webs, vines, branches, owls, and more.

All materials will be provided. Refreshments will follow.

Watercolor w/ Your Grandperson! Returns with a Thanksgiving Theme

Program Description:  Watercolor with your Grandperson!, hosted by The City of Hudson Senior Center and the library, is taught by watercolorist extraordinaire  Gretchen Kelly. Open to grandparents, parents, children, and grandchildren. Participants paint in watercolors from fall foliage including flowers, bittersweet vines, horns of plenty, and other related Thanksgiving images.

 Date/Time: Saturday, November 17 1-4pm
