During the months of May and June students from the John L. Edwards Elementary School were able to have individual classroom visits to the Hudson Area Library. Students were greeted by library staff members or volunteers and took a tour of the library. They listened to a story, perused the children’s room collection and received applications for library cards. The hope is that the children will become acquainted with the library, get their own library cards and be able to frequent the library during the summer months. The children were invited to be a part of the library’s summer program entitled “Make A Splash” which will focus on the aspect of water.
