Improvements to The Friends of the Hudson Area Library’s Book Sale Room

Bill Ebel, instructor of construction at Questar, and his class install new shelving they built for the Friends of the Hudson Library's Book Sale Room.
Each month the Friends of the Hudson Area Library open the doors of their book sale room to the public. The sale is the first Saturday of the month from 10 am – 1 pm, offering thousands of books at a very discounted cost. Currently the group is making some major improvements to the room to better serve the public. The construction class at Questar built and installed new shelving with materials that were generously donated by Herringtons Lumber. The group also received a donation of paint from Lowes in Hudson. Now the Friends are restocking the shelves with all of the generously donated books in order to get the room up and running for the the May 7th sale. The official re-opening of the room will happen at the Friends’ annual meeting scheduled for May 18th at 6:30pm. The public, as well as all of the members of the Friends of the Hudson Area Library are invited to attend. A brief meeting will be held along with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
