Ghostly Gallop – an annual race in memory of William F. Cranna

The Ghostly Gallop is fast approaching. Keep an eye on the website for more information as we get closer to this fun event. Support the library and get some fresh air.

We Need Runners, Walkers, Volunteers & Donors

  • 5K Road Race – 9:00am ($20)

    Start of Kid's 1 Mile Race - 2010
    Start of Kid's 1 Mile Race - 2010
  • 5K Community Walk – 9:00am ($20)
  • 1 mile Kids Race – 9:45am (12 and under are free)
A long sleeve T-shirt for all 5K participants
Halloween costumes welcome
All children in costume will receive a special prize
All proceeds benefit the Hudson Area Library

You can download a mail-in application here. Race day registration will be available (7 am to 8:30am).

We also need volunteers to help out before the race day and on race day. Volunteers are needed to manage traffic at specific corners along the route, assist at the start and finish lines, and other tasks.

You can support the Ghostly Gallop by donating online.

Multiply Your Support – become a Fundraiser

If you are a participant in the Ghostly Gallop, or know someone who is a participant, or maybe you are just a supporter of the library, you can set up your own Fundraiser page and send emails to your family and friends to raise money for the library. Simply go to the online donation page and click on the link in the navigation bar “Become a Fundraiser“. Then, set up your own Fundraising webpage, write a special note about why you support the library, and send emails to your family and friends.
