Expanded Eat for Books a Success
On Thursday July 26th we held our new expanded version of Eat for Books. Fifteen food establishments participated and a large number of people ate through the day from breakfast to dinner and even late night drinks. Look over the list of businesses that supported the library by donating a portion of their receipts on Eat for Books Thursday. Next time you visit one of them thank them for supporting the library. And thanks to all of the people who ate out. Without you too this would not have been such a success.
Thanks to All Who Participated
Fundraising events like Eat for Books are critical to keeping the library open and serving our communities. We receive only 60% of our operating budget through taxes. Donations are the lifeblood, quite literally, of the library. Thanks again to all the businesses who supported us through Eat for Books and to all those who ate (and drank) on Thursday.
