Etsy Workshop: Make Art Out of Old Books!

The Repurposed Library

The Friends of the Hudson Area Library and Etsy-Hudson are pleased to announce their partnership for a special craft workshop entitled “The Repurposed Library” an official Etsy Craft Party 2012. The event will be at the new Etsy Hudson office at the Cannonball Factory, 359-361 Columbia Street in Hudson on Friday, August 24th, from 6 until 8pm. Participants will choose a craft from a variety of paper projects that creatively reuse and recycle books into hand-crafted works of art.

Craft Party is a global celebration of meeting and making. It’s a time to get to know your neighbors and exercise your creative spirit. Craft Parties take place around the world when communities come together to participate in art, craft, design and DIY in every form. All materials will be provided free of charge for this event. Children, teen and adult crafters of all ages and levels are welcome. In order to ensure materials for all crafters, we urge everyone to sign up for this free event at http://www.meetup.com/etsy/Hudson-NY/741522 as soon as possible. Space is limited.

Also as a special treat: Promotional coupons can be found in the official Etsy Craft Party Kit, including 10% off at Michael’s and other crafty websites.
