Want to learn how to download books on to your Kindle, iPad, Nook or other electronic reader? Then join us at the Hudson Area Library on Saturday, November 17th and find out how! Starting at 11:00am, discover everything you need to know about downloading thousands of books electronically.

Bring your personal device and learn from an expert how to easily and quickly download books. Don’t have an eReader but are thinking of getting one? No problem, come in and see how they work before you decide. Drop in anytime between 11:00am and 1:00pm at the Hudson Area Library, 400 State Street, Hudson NY. Started two years ago, the collection of eBooks within the Mid-Hudson Library System has grown tremendously. Circulation over this past summer averaged over 7,860 checkouts per month. Currently there are over 2,300 eBook titles in the Mid-Hudson Library System to choose from, and more are being added each month. Included are 100 of the most popular Classic eBooks as an “Always Available” collection.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Hudson Area Library and the Mid-Hudson Library System. The Friends is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization and proceeds from its fundraising go to the Library for the acquisition of books and other media and for the development and delivery of the Library’s services to the community.
