Started two years ago, the collection of eBooks within the Mid-Hudson Library System has grown tremendously. Circulation over this past summer averaged over 7,860 checkouts per month. Currently there are over 2,300 eBook titles in the Mid-Hudson Library System to choose from, and more are being added each month. Included are 100 of the most popular Classic eBooks as an “Always Available” collection.
This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Hudson Area Library and the Mid-Hudson Library System. The Friends is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization and proceeds from its fundraising go to the Library for the acquisition of books and other media and for the development and delivery of the Library’s services to the community.
