Ms. Frizzle, Kids’ Stories and Crafts, and The Keep On Reading! Kid’s Book Sale

The Keep On Reading! Kids Book Sale will be held for two days, Friday February 22nd and Saturday, February 23rd at the Hudson Area Library. This special sale takes place from 1-4pm on Friday and from 10am-2pm on Saturday and is sponsored by the Friends of the Hudson Area Library. All proceeds from this sale will be used for the purchase of new books and other media for the Library’s ever-expanding collection.

In conjunction with the Kids Book Sale, the Library is featuring a special program on both Friday and Saturday for children to learn about the rainforest. On Friday, meet Ms. Frizzle from The Magic School Bus with story time and arts and crafts activities in the children’s room with Ms. Marlene. On Saturday, there will be more story time and rainforest craft projects for kids of all ages with Ms. Marlene and Ms. Janice. All ages are welcome. Join us Friday from 1-4pm and Saturday from 10am-2pm in the Children’s Room for rainforest fun!

The Book Sale Room is open every Saturday and offers books for all ages and reading levels–infants to adults. All proceeds from the Book Sale Room support the Hudson Area Library.

Included in this special two day sale are large picture books, early reader books, non-fiction books, chapter books and young adult books. There are many varieties of titles and topics, from adventure, classics, fairy tales, fantasy, fiction, history, humor, sports, nature and science and much more in many formats–board books, hardcover, paperback and a large selection of kids movies and music.

The Friends welcomes your donation of gently used books (including textbooks published after the year 2000) and other media throughout the year. Please, no encyclopedias, trade journals, manuals, periodicals or damaged items. Please call the Library in advance of donating at 518.828.1792 to arrange a drop-off time Tuesdays through Saturdays.
