Calling all home cooks, food lovers and professional chefs!
The Friends of the Hudson Area Library will be offering over 500 great cookbooks at the “Colossal Cook Book Sale” on Friday, April 26th from 1-4pm, and Saturday, April 27th from 10-2pm. This large and eclectic collection of vintage, new, and used cookbooks will be on the shelves in the Book Sale Room at the Hudson Area Library, 400 State Street in Hudson. All books will be offered at discounted prices.
Included in this large selection are quick and easy meals, baking, barbeque and grilling, gourmet, entertaining and menu guides as well as many ethnic cuisines. Cookbooks make great gifts too, whether it’s for the serious food lover or the occasional cook – you’ll be sure to find something for everyone at this great sale!
Special guest, cookbook author, columnist and professional caterer, Susan Simon will be on hand to answer all of your cooking, recipe and ingredients questions on Saturday, from 11-1:00pm. Susan has written five cookbooks and currently writes a food column for the Register Star titled “Susan Simon Says: Food for Thought”.
The Friends of the Hudson Area Library is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and proceeds from its fundraising go to the library for the acquisition of books and other media and for the development of the library’s services to the community.
