The Greater Hudson Promise Neighborhood (GHPN) announces a free seven week program for parents who are expecting in the Hudson City School District. This program will cover a different topic each week, including nutrition, health, childhood development, safety and discipline. Participants will also be able to join in classes such as prenatal yoga, knitting, and workshops for dads. On top of that, participants will be entered into raffles and may receive give-aways, including the chance to win one month’s free rent (up to $500)! Childcare will be provided if needed.

This program begins August 10th and will take place on Saturdays until September 28th. Registration is required and the deadline for applications is August 2 at noon. In order to register, please fill out the Families of Promise Registration Packet PDF (English), or the Families of Promise Registration Packet PDF (Spanish), and return to 431 E. Allen Street in Hudson, or fax to 518-828-4016. For more information, contact GHPN at 518-828-8660 or, or visit the GHPN blog.
