Attention parents, teachers and kids of all ages! Come find great summer books for reading fun, books for school or even a special interest or subject.
The Friends of the Hudson Area Library are having their Third Annual Summer Kids Book Sale for two days so that all kids can have the opportunity to own great books at little cost. The sale will be held on two days, Friday, August 9th and Saturday, August 10th in the Book Sale Room from 10am until 2pm each day. In addition, there will be music sing-a-longs, story time and activities in the Children’s Room at the library both days.
Raffle tickets for a gift basket of great children’s books, book bag and gift coupons will also be available for purchase those days. Tickets will be sold for just $1 each, or 6 for $5. This terrific gift basket is valued at over $50.
The Friends welcome donations of gently used books and other media throughout the year. Call the library at (518)828.1792 in advance of donating to arrange a drop-off time Tuesdays through Saturdays. Please, no encyclopedias, textbooks, periodicals, technical publications, manuals or books in poor condition.
