The Friends of the Hudson Area Library has added three regional museums to its Museum Pass Program. Library card-holders now have free admission to six arts and culture venues including the Albany Institute of History and Art, the Clark Art Institute (Williamstown, MA), Thomas Cole National Historic Site (home of Hudson River School painter, Thomas Cole, Catskill), Columbia County Historical Museum (Kinderhook), FASNY Museum of Firefighting (Hudson), and Olana State Historic Site (Hudson).
Passes may be borrowed for one to three days and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Passes may be reserved by calling the library at 518.828.1792 or by stopping by the library office. Most passes admit four adults, but the number admitted varies by site. Library members must have a current Mid-Hudson Library System card to borrow passes.
Funded by the Friends of the Hudson Area Library, passes to these six culturally rich organizations were carefully chosen by the Friends and Library staff to suit the diverse interests of the local community that the Library serves.
Call soon to reserve your free passes for your family or friends (or weekend guests!), or stop by the library today!
