The Friends of the Hudson Area Library and the Columbia County Photo Club announce the opening of the Third Annual Photography Exhibit titled Back Roads of Columbia County: An Open Photographic Exhibition, at the Hudson Area Library, 400 State Street, Hudson on Thursday, August 14, 2014. Twenty-seven members of the Columbia County Photo Club will participate in this exhibit, with a public reception with the artists from 5:00 until 7:00pm on the 14th. All photographs will be offered for sale at the Library, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Friends of the Hudson Area Library. The exhibit will continue through October 25, 2014.
This years’ exhibition includes photographs by Paul Abitabile, Doug Stalker, Joan Lizette-Miller, J. Pierre Gontier, Joe Palumbo, Tammy Parditka, Paul Roberts, Jonathon Simons, Renee (Klein) Lawrence, Christine Dean, William Shaughnasey, Beth (Marie) Meehan, Bridget Arnold, Patricia Williams, Larry Fingar, Kara Keeler, Joe Lalka, Brian Yorck, Ken Bovat, Daniel Region, Ralph Gorgone, Steve Wildermuth, Jennifer Bock, Trudi Roth, Joe Parditka, Deborah Lans and Kristen Stoddard.
The Columbia County Photo Club meets at the Hudson Area Library from 6-8pm on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Meetings include sharing photographs, resources, technical knowledge and support of photographic endeavors. Photographers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to join.
