As a special bonus, the Friends will also host a face-painting artist on Friday from 11am-1pm. This is the perfect opportunity to bring the kids to the library, stock up on great titles to encourage reading throughout the summer. Raffle tickets for a large gift basket of children’s books will also be available for purchase on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $1 each, or 6 for $5. This basket is full of great books and activities for all kids, and is valued at more than $75– a great deal!

Picture books, early reader books, non-fiction books, chapter books and a large selection of books for young adults are on the shelves. There’s a large variety of subjects too, including adventure, classics, fairy tales, fantasy, fiction, history, humor, nature, science, sports, and much more in many formats–board books for the little ones, hardcovers and paperbacks, plus movies, games and music.

Don’t forget– children’s books make great gifts too. You’ll be sure to find something for every reader on your list this summer, whether it’s for a birthday or special occasion for friends or family.

The Book Sale Room has the largest selection in the area of vintage, new and gently used books, with additional titles always being added to the already abundant selection. The shelves are packed with great inventory, with more than fifty genres. The Book Sale Room is open every Saturday from 10am until 1pm, so stop by this summer and take home a bargain book (or two, or three…)!
