Our friends at Spark Media Project return on Saturday, September 19 for a free one-day animation workshop for kids ages 7-12. Students in this class will learn 2 different types of animation – stop motion animation and digital animation.
First, they will create characters out of paper and learn how to create the illusion of movement. Then they will use a brand new, state-of-the-art program to create their own digital animations – choose a character, create an original background, and then use a computer program to animate the character using facial recognition and voice recordings.
The workshop runs from 10am-4pm on September 19. Space is limited and registration is required. Reserve a spot for your 7-12 year old by calling Spark Media Project at 845-485-4480, email maryellen@sparkmediaproject.org or register online.
