We have three adult computer classes scheduled for the fall. The first class will focus on using Microsoft Word to create a resume, the second class will focus on iPad basics and the third class will cover computer file organization for beginners.

Microsoft Word – Resume and Career Focus
Friday, October 30, 12:30-2pm
This course will focus primarily on the creation of a cover letter and resume. All participants should bring their most recent resume and/or job history (with dates/locations). A flash/thumb drive is also suggested, but not required. You’ll learn how to set up a resume, how to select and use Microsoft Word templates and how to format the document to meet your needs.
iPad Basics
Saturday, November 7, 10am-11:30am
All participants will be required to bring their own iPad to the class. You’ll learn the functions of various icons, how to add an app to an iPad, how to change the iPad settings, how to copy/paste/print, and how to access the Internet.
Beginners – Basic Computer File Organization
Friday, November 13, 12:30-2pm
This class is a Beginner Level Class which will introduce participants to the basic computer file organization. You’ll learn where files can be stored for easy access, how to find programs and documents, and how to bookmark a page and save a page as a Favorite for future review.
