Congratulations to all the runners, walkers, and cyclists who participated in the annual Ghostly Gallop! More than 200 people participated with bikers beginning their day on Saturday in cold temperatures, but our beautiful Hudson Valley, at peak color, took their minds off cold fingertips. By the time the riders arrived at the half-way point, Riverview Café in Stuyvesant, the sun had warmed things up considerably.
Sunday’s later start date for the Kid’s 1-Mile Fun Run and 5K Walk/Run brought the mercury up to a perfect temperature for participants and viewers. The winners, Arianna Nilsson (22:25) and Daniel Ronsani (18:08) duplicated their finishing positions of 2015. They are now local legends, and the ones to beat next year.
