The Hudson Area Library and Columbia Memorial Health announce a joint fundraising event built on the growing interest in Columbia County, and specifically Hudson, as exceptional wedding destinations. The BRIDAL EXPO will be Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 10am to 4pm at Helsinki Hudson (405 Columbia St., Hudson, NY) to benefit the Hudson Area Library and Columbia Memorial Health.
This expo will feature 80 magnificent designer wedding gowns, many valued at more than $2,500, with each dress now priced at an affordable $300. The Expo is free to the public and complimentary refreshments will be served throughout the day. All proceeds from this one-day BRIDAL EXPO will benefit The Hudson Area Library and Columbia Memorial Health, while drawing attention to the talented wedding services available in the area.
Lisa Dolan, one of the organizers, said, “…So many different dress styles – at the amazing price of only $300 each! AND this is a wonderful opportunity to help 2 important local organizations…all while saving money”. A sponsor shared, “Wow! 80 dresses in one place, plus the best wedding vendors – it’ll be a lot of fun. It’s definitely worth stopping in to buy a dress for yourself, a friend, or buy and even donate it.”
The BRIDAL EXPO, which is being held upstairs at Club Helsinki, will feature the most outstanding wedding service providers in the Columbia County destination-driven wedding industry. In addition to the wedding gowns; DJs, caterers, regional make-up and hair stylists, florists, lodging options, and other types of wedding vendors will be available to consult with you about your wedding. Café Le Perche is providing a light breakfast; and wedding-style refreshments, including Rose, Prosecco and appetizers, will be available later in the day courtesy of Club Helsinki, the venue host and primary sponsor.
