Every year millions of Americans find themselves unable to vote because they miss a registration deadline, don’t update their registration, or aren’t sure how to register. We want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to vote. If you turned 18 recently, changed your name, moved, or haven’t voted in recent elections, then you need to update your voter registration.
We’re excited to be part of a national effort to strengthen our community by registering voters. On Tuesday, September 26, also known as National Voter Registration Day, stop by the library during open hours (9am-8pm) to register! We’ll have paper registration forms on-hand and instructions and applications for absentee ballots. Not sure if your registration is up-to-date? We can help with that as well!
