Columbia County Photography Club Exhibition

Christmas Sunset by Karen Stodolski

Columbia County Photo Club announces its holiday photo exhibit at the Hudson Area Library. The theme is winter and winter holidays. A reception with refreshments will be held on December 5, 6 – 8pm in the community room of the library. All photos will be for sale and the library will receive a percentage of each sale. This is a good opportunity to do some holiday shopping and benefit the library at the same time. The show will be open between November 15 and January 2 during library opening hours.

For the seventh year in a row, the Friends of the Hudson Area Library are hosting this yearly exhibition of the Photo Club. The Friends support library collections and programming. Karen Davis of Davis Orton Gallery has assisted in developing the show for the last seven years.

This event is free and open to the public. It will take place in the community room, which is wheelchair accessible. For more information email programs@hudsonarealibrary.org, call 518.828.1792 x101, or visit the main desk in the library.

The Columbia County Photo Club is composed of a group of Columbia County photographers interested in improving their skills. The CCPC is open to all, professional or hobbyists, using any type of camera. The group meets every second and fourth Tuesdays 6 – 8pm in the Hudson Area Library community room. New members are welcome and all that is needed to join is to come to a meeting in the library.
