Bengali Bandhan classes continues with a new meeting time: Fridays 4 – 5pm January 5 – February 9. After these sessions, classes may be resuming again in the spring so please do check back for further information. These classes, taught by MD Gazi and Kaniz Fatema, are open to school aged children and the general public.
Students will learn how to read, write, and speak in Bengali. There are also lessons on Bangladeshi culture through shared stories, poems, songs, dance, and arts and crafts. Students’ work will be celebrated in April at an event for participants and their families.
