Program Description: Young gardeners will plant cuttings to make new plants, plant seeds and design bouquets. All materials provided courtesy of the Greenport Garden Club, whose members will work with the youth.
Date/Time: Sunday, June 3, 2 – 3pm
Suggested Audience: 5 – 10 year olds
Pre-registration required.
Participants will also plant seeds and design bouquets. Please dress your children in clothing suitable for light gardening and expect them to come home with a spring treat from the garden!
In collaboration with the Greenport Garden Club, this free activity takes place in the community room, which is wheelchair accessible. Registration is limited to 15. Please register in advance by emailing programs@hudsonarealibrary.org, or by calling us at (518) 828-1792 ext 101.
