We were very pleased to host this year’s Hack The Library for an extended session of two days to a full week. This allowed us to split the participants in two groups: one for tweens + teens new to our hack program and an advanced workshop for returning HACK participants.
The advanced participants were given the full week to research in the library’s History Room with volunteer John Craig, write, shoot, score and edit their own short films around the History of 5th Street. They worked under the guidance of filmmakers Zia Anger and Theo Anthony. We are excited to present their video below
In order of Appearance: “Ze Movie” by Nick Savulich, “AG News” by Guinevere Dermott & Abigail Fleurimond, “Hannah’s House” by Graciela Rodriguez & Emily Membero, “Kenneth’s Movie” by Kenneth Jackson, “Stephen Kardos & The Ruthless Whale” by Will Savulich & Monte Romero, “Cat Comix.
