We are pleased to announce a photographic exhibit by the members of the Columbia County Photo Club. This is the ninth year for the Columbia County Photo Club’s annual show. It is an exciting show for the members because they not only display their work, but they also are able to help aid the good work of the Friends of the Hudson Area Library by donating 30% of sales to the Friends, who support library programs and collections.
The exhibition may be viewed during normal library business hours through December 19.
The Columbia County Photo Club is very casual and without dues. It was formed to bring photographers of all ages and skill levels together for the common purpose of promoting artist growth. Meeting on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 6-8pm (2nd Tuesdays in the library Community Room and 4th Tuesdays at the Greenport Community Center), the club welcomes all to join them at a meeting.
The opening reception and exhibition are free and open to the public. It will take place in the library’s community room, which is wheelchair accessible.
