Program Description: In collaboration with Out Hudson we are proud to present a special Story Time. Drag Queen Story Time is a family-friendly and inclusive event, striving to celebrate differences, breaking down barriers and of course dressing up!

Date/Time: Saturday, March 28, 11am-12pm

Suggested Audience: Children birth to seven and their families.

This session features Joni Magdalene, a Philadelphia Queen, who enjoys a long walk with her Standard Poodle, an acoustic open mic, and a vegan carrot cake. She performs throughout Philly and is known for her live vocals, guitar playing, and activism. In 2019, Joni became Philadelphia’s Miss Sobriety, a title that she is extremely proud of. Joni loves fellowship with friends, tea, and of course, reading a good story. Timothy Quinn, also known as Joni, is a native New Yorker now living in the city of Brotherly Love. He is a self taught guitarist and vocalist who is inspired by the art of Folk Music and Story Telling. He performs throughout Philly and New York City in coffee shops, pubs, and homes. With a bit of old soul and a taste for the classics, Tim enjoys connecting with his audience through music. He believes music sessions are a time to connect with friends and to make new ones.

This program is supported, in part, by OutHudson. There will be also be a drag treasure chest with costumes for kids and complimentary cookies from Trixie’s Oven.
