Virtual Programs for Toddlers, Young Children, and Families

All of our virtual programs for toddlers, young children, and their families will continue through June 2020.

  • Virtual Story Hour: Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays, 10-11am. Our dynamic mother/daughter duo, Louise Costello (Ms. Louise) and Christa Shook (Ms. Christa) are leading our weekday story hours with book readings, games that can be played at home, and crafts that can be done with simple materials found in many homes.   • Virtual Movement & Music: Tuesdays, 10-11am. Master educator, musician, and songstress Abby Lappen leads toddlers and their families in songs and movement activities. And, in this time of new normal, we thank the Claverack Library for the use of their parking lot and their free WiFi where Abby leads the program! Click here to register.

 

  • Virtual Story Hour: Saturdays, 11am-12pm. 1st and 3rd Saturdays, Pamela Badila of Diata Diata International Folkloric Theater performs simple folktales and leads the children to enact portions of them. On 2nd, 4th, and 5th (when applicable) Saturdays, Library assistant, Thea Ezinga, leads children and families is stories, rhymes, and games. Click here to register.
