Library Reopening Update: Extended hours and services, masks still required

We are excited to move forward in our reopening by extending our hours; opening reading, study, and children’s areas; and phasing out appointments for library visits.

Masks are still required in the library facility, for all visitors over the age of 2, regardless of vaccination status. We serve many children and families and want to make sure that we provide a safe space for summer learning and engagement for all visitors.

Appointments are no longer necessary for the majority of library uses; we will still require appointments for curbside pickup, meeting room use, and history room use. We are offering a mix of in-person and virtual program options for the summer months. We look forward to seeing you soon!

We are open to the public the following hours: 10am-5pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; 10am-8pm Wednesday; and 10am-3pm Saturday.

As of July 14, 2021, approximately 54.5% of people in our area have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and 50.6% have completed the vaccine series. For more details and updated numbers, visit https://covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/vaccination-rates-zip-code.
