Nature Quest Celebration! (Saturday, September 24)

Join the Columbia Land Conservancy and partners (including your local Columbia County libraries) as we celebrate the launch of Nature Quest! All ages are welcome to this free event to enjoy the afternoon at Siegel-Kline Kill Conservation Area and test out Nature Quest.

During this spectacular adventure, all ages are welcome to read and learn about what creatures live at each Public Conservation Area. Complete your quest and send in your form by mail or online to receive a special prize!

After this launch event, Nature Quest booklets will also be available for pick up at various locations, including Hudson Area Library.

The Nature Quest project was supported with funding from the New York State Conservation Partnership Program (NYSCPP) and New York’s Environmental Protection Fund. The NYSCPP is administered by the Land Trust Alliance, in coordination with the state Department of Environmental Conservation. Funding was also provided by the New York State Environmental Protection Fund, NYSDEC Hudson River Estuary Program.
