In this month’s Little Wonders Storytime, Mr. Purple will read There’s No Place Like Space: All About Our Solar System by Tish Rabe (part of Dr Seuss’ Cat in the Hat Learning Library), and he’ll lead a fizzing moon activity! Children will create a “moon surface” using baking soda and then use droppers to add vinegar, watching as the craters fizz and bubble like a volcanic eruption on the moon. This activity is safe, interactive, and allows for hands-on exploration of chemical reactions while learning about space concepts.
