Summer Reading is a national celebration of books and readers that goes on all summer long. This year’s theme is “Color Our World” and we’ve got a ton of free events, giveaways, and activities planned for readers of all ages, including:
Giveaway Tote Bags, packed full of free art supplies, crafts, books, and more. These bags will be available for pick-up at the library’s Summer Warm Up! Party on Tuesday, July 8. While supplies last!
Free Ice Cream Cone Gift Certificates for participants in our All Ages Reading Challenge. From July 8 to August 16, we’ll be giving out free Stewart’s single scoop ice cream cone gift certificates to anyone who completes our Summer Reading Challenge! Pick up a reading challenge bookmark at the library’s main desk, fill out each of the 5 challenges (ex. read outside, read a comic, etc.), show your completed bookmark to a librarian before August 16 and collect your reward!
