Computer Sessions and Collections Browsing

We are no longer requiring appointments for computer sessions and collections browsing.

Study and reading areas, and the children’s craft and play areas are open to the public again as of July 5, 2021.

Masks are still required in the library facility, for all visitors over the age of 2, regardless of vaccination status. We serve many children and families and want to make sure that we provide a safe space for summer learning and engagement for all visitors.

Computer sessions are for one hour with an optional hour extension if space allows.

The collections are open for browsing. Checkouts and holds pickup can be made at the main library service desk.

We will continue to offer our curbside service for those who prefer to not enter the main library or the building. To schedule an appointment for curbside service, please call 518-828-1792 x100 or email holds@hudsonarealibrary.org. Please include the following information: your name (and spelling of your last name if ordering by voicemail) and the preferred date and time for pickup. If you are requesting an appointment by email or voicemail, please wait for confirmation of your appointment before heading to the library.
