How Can I Access the Public Computers and Internet?
Library members may log onto the public computers using their library card number and personal identification number (PIN). Visitors with photo ID may request a visitor’s pass to access the Internet/computers.
WiFi Access
If you have your own wireless-enabled laptop or device, you may connect to the library’s WiFi network for free.
How Much Time Can I Spend on a Library Computer?
Each public computer session is for one hour. If you need more time, ask a library team member. Each computer user may have up to two one-hour extensions per day, if time and space allow.
How Do I Save a File?
The computers are automatically wiped clean of documents and downloads when the computer restarts. You will need to save your files to a flash drive or save them to the cloud before your session ends if you wish to access your files again.
How do I protect my privacy at the end of my session?
The computers are automatically wiped clean of documents and downloads when the computer restarts. To ensure that your personal files or information is cleared from the computers, make sure to delete personal files from the computer and log out of all online accounts, or restart the computer.
How do I Print?
Printing is available from the public computers at 25¢ per page. If you wish to print you must add funds to your card/pass at the main service desk before printing. The first page per day is free.
What If I Need Help?
Ask a library staff member if you need help with the computers. We will make every effort to assist you, but may be limited in the amount of time we can spend helping individuals one-on-one.
