Core Strength & Balance

Program Description: Dr. Paul Spector is certified as a trainer with the American Academy of Sports Medicine. In this class, he shares exercises that improve postural stability, core strength, spatial body awareness, sensory integration, agility, and coordination. The class has become an important space for community through its focus on healthy connection, breathing, and its encouraging atmosphere.

Good News for our Core Strength & Balance!

One piece of good news in 2020: Dr. Spector will be teaching Core Strength & Balance THROUGH December this year!

Program Description: We are adding our sessions of our popular Core Strength & Balance for the month of December. These classes focus on exercises that improve postural stability, core strength, spatial body awareness, sensory integration, agility and coordination. Core Strength meets virtually on Zoom video conferencing services.

Date/Time: Saturdays, 1:30-2:30pm, December 5, 12, 19, and 26

Registration: A student already registered for the summer Virtual Core Strength can simply use the current Zoom link. Any new registrants can email programs@hudsonarealibrary.org or call 518.828.1792 x101.

VIRTUAL: Core Strength & Balance

Program Description: Instructor Paul Spector introduces exercises that improve postural stability, core strength, spatial body awareness, sensory integration, agility, and coordination. All levels welcome. This program is a collaboration with the City of Hudson Senior Center.

Date/Time: Series of 4-week workshops meets weekly on Saturdays in January, February, March, and April, 1:30-2:30pm.

Senior Fitness: Core Strength & Balance w/ Paul Spector

Program Description: In collaboration with the Senior Center; we are continuing to offer the popular “Senior Fitness: Core Strength & Balance with Paul Spector”. This series of 4-week long workshops introduces exercises that improve postural stability, core strength, spatial body awareness, sensory integration, agility and coordination. The class size has a cap of 12 to allow greater flexibility in addressing the needs of each participant. After completing the series of four sessions, the individual will have mastered a balance routine that they can continue independently at home.

Program Description: The library and the City of Hudson Senior Center, are offering another 4-week series of the popular “Senior Fitness: Core Strength & Balance with Dr. Paul Spector”. This series introduces exercises that improve postural stability, core strength, spatial body awareness, sensory integration, agility and coordination. After completing the four sessions, the individual will have mastered a balance routine that they can continue independently at home.
