You are invited to Booked for the Evening inWonderland, a very special fundraiser for the Hudson Area Library. On Saturday, August 11 you’ll enjoy a festive evening of cocktails, dinner and lots of surprises at a beautiful private home near Hudson. Join other generous Library supporters (and Alice, too, of course) to celebrate our Library’s exciting next chapter.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the event site starting at 6pm. $150 per person.
Booked for the Evening in Wonderland will take place at 595 Oak Hill Road, Claverack, NY and will include…
– Dinner and drinks provided by beloved Hudson area restaurants and caterers: Jarin Ahmed Catering, Taste Box, Home/Made, Lil Deb’s Oasis, and Faye’s Jerk Chicken.
– A live auction including one week stay in France, one week stay in England, and a drone photography session.
– Raffle for A Season of Dining Out donated by local restaurants. Participating restaurants include BackBar, The Maker, Food Studio, Hand/Made, WM Farmer, among many many others. Winner takes all.
– Call for the Cause
– DJ and dancing in a beautiful country setting
– A Wonderland theme and plenty of surprises

Join us for al fresco drinks, dinner and dancing.* Park your rag top at the farm – less than 5 miles from Hudson. Cruise through the silent auction display, then grab some eats provided by a local chef. Join the gang and bid on an item that belongs in YOUR library. As soon as the sun goes down, stash your shades and kick off your shoes. Sing along with Bill Haley. Jitterbug to classic 45s. Join us for a little piece of rock-‘n’-roll heaven.
Learn how to grow beautiful food from author Matthew Benson on Sunday, June 12, 3:30pm in the beautiful gardens at 243 Union Street. Admission is $25.00 per person.
Then, at 6:30pm, join the author for Dinner in an Empty House. (We’ll take you there.) Delicious, garden-fresh, organic, local vegetables and fruits. Delectable entrees cooked to perfection in an elegant setting. Fine wine, beautiful food and great conversation with an extraordinary gardener (and photographer). $100 per person. $150 per couple.
