Fall Sessions for Core Strength & Balance at the Library

Program Description: This fall the library, in collaboration with the City of Hudson Senior Center, continues its popular Core Strength & Balance with Dr. Paul Spector. These classes introduce exercises that improve postural stability, core strength, spatial body awareness, sensory integration, agility and coordination. Core Strength meets virtually on Zoom video conferencing services.

Date/Time: Saturdays, 1:30-2:30pm, September 5 – November 28.

Registration: A student already registered for the summer Virtual Core Strength can simply use the current Zoom link. Any new registrants can email programs@hudsonarealibrary.org or call 518.828.1792 x101.

November/December Core Strength & Balance Classes

Program Description: The library and the City of Hudson Senior Center, are offering another 4-week series of the popular “Senior Fitness: Core Strength & Balance with Dr. Paul Spector”. This series introduces exercises that improve postural stability, core strength, spatial body awareness, sensory integration, agility and coordination. After completing the four sessions, the individual will have mastered a balance routine that they can continue independently at home.

Date/Time: Saturdays, November 3, 10, 17 & December 1, 1:30-2:30pm

Strength & Stretching for Runners & Walkers

Program Description: This free exercise session at the library is led by Kylah Campeta of LYF fitness in Hudson. As you prepare to run the Ghostly Gallop in Hudson on Oct. 21, learn how stretching and strength work can improve your finishing time. Every attendee gets $5 off their Ghostly Gallop entry fee! Kylah is certified in Athletic training, pre/post natal training, boxing, spin, TRX, stretching and dance/movement.
