GG5K Profile – Brady Eschberger – 7-year-old runner

Meet Brady, our GG5K Profile of the Day! Although Brady has only been running since he was 5, he has amassed “lots” of medals – including two from earlier Ghostly Gallops. Samantha Riegel, his marathon running Mom, better improve her times. This kid is Olympic material! Learn more about Brady below!

What made you start running? My Mom asked me if I wanted to run my first race.  It was the Ghostly Gallop – two years ago.  I never ran in a race before and I wanted to see what it was like. For me, the best part was that I tried my best. Continue reading →

Save the Date! – Sunday, October 22

The 17th annual Ghostly Gallop 5K Walk/Run and Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run to benefit our library will be held at Hudson High School on Sunday, Oct. 22.

The 5K course has been certified by the USA Track & Field and its entire length will be closed to traffic for the duration of the race. Other improvements include a runners’ costume competition and cash prizes for top adult runners, the fastest team, best costume and largest family entering in the combined events.

We want to make it fun for children, families and teams. It’s a great community event for Hudson and an important fundraiser for our Library.
