A big thank you to Girl Scout Troop 1635 for their recent donation of 14 new children’s book to the library’s collection! The books include informational books, chapter books, and picture books; new releases, classics, and books from popular series. The troop’s donation was made as part of the Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York’s Buzz About Books Community Service Project. Check out the full list of donated titles below:

Super Saturday Kids Book Sale on August 4th!

The Friends of the Hudson Area Library announces its summer Super Saturday Kids Book Sale on Saturday, August 4th from 10am until 1pm. All children's books will be offered at very low discounted prices to encourage summer reading for children of every age. There are thousands of books to choose from, for every level of reader from toddlers to teens. Included in this special one day sale are large picture books, early reader books, non-fiction books, chapter books and young adult books.
