A note on the antipasto: The food in these picnics is not Pizza; it is a delicious assortment of six Italian appetizers like Prociutto di Parma, roasted olives, cheese, etc. It will make a tasty light supper or cocktail spread, but you may still want an entrée for dinner. Buon Appetito!

If you are not able to participate in the Valentine’s Day picnic fundraiser, but would like to share the library love, please make a donation of any amount via the button below.

February is Library Lovers’ Month!

library lover's month

18,828…that’s the number of reasons to love your library! That is the number of the regular print books on our shelves, and that doesn’t even include large print books, audio books, music CDs, or DVDs! However, a library’s value resides in much more than just the materials that it loans out. A library is a place to learn a new language, to earn your GED, to hone your computer skills, to meet with others or a place to just read and relax. Many of the services and materials available through the library are free, which makes your local library an invaluable resource to the community. Consider showing your love for Hudson Area Library with a monetary donation, applying to be a volunteer at our front desk, or just stopping by to say hello! We couldn’t open our doors without our valued patrons and volunteers, so thank you for the love you’ve shown our library over the years!
